Description

Quantum cryptography is arguably the only technology that offers transparent and long-term information security, but its implementation remains costly and unwieldy. In recent years, to overcome these drawbacks, researchers have started putting quantum devices on photonic chips, capitalizing on existing fabrication techniques to build complex quantum devices without losing stability and size. In this presentation, I will briefly review the basic principles of applied quantum key distribution and introduce some recent results of our group at NUS.
